About the Melbourne Mining Club

The Melbourne Mining Club, founded in 2001, is a not-for-profit organisation formed to promote the minerals industry.

The club has blossomed into the pre-eminent networking organisation for the resource sector. Our six bi-monthly industry lunches attract speakers from the world’s largest mining companies. Industry leaders and executives from the service industries to the resource sector make up our large audiences.

The Melbourne Mining club also runs popular and well-attended international events which attract resource investors to meet with and listen to leaders of the global mining sector. Our annual Melbourne Mining Club in London dinner is a highlight of the global resource calendar.

The club is also committed to fostering and promoting innovation, from exploration to processing and mining technologies.

Committee members, who donate their time as volunteers, are also regular contributors in the areas of Community and Social Responsibility. The club has a strong commitment to safety and shares the Resource Industry’s belief that our workers should leave work at the end of the day in the same healthy and safe condition that they arrived at the start of their shift.
